From Palestine to Latin America, from the streets of Chennai to communities across the UK, Amos Trust stands with people fighting for justice.

Amos Trust partners with civil society groups in Palestine, Climate activists in Mexico and Central America and Gender justice projects in sub-Saharan Africa and India. We also undertake advocacy and awareness raising work in the UK.

Palestine and the Middle East

For over 30 years, Amos Trust has walked alongside Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank — supporting grassroots organisations, defending human rights and advocating for an end to occupation and apartheid. We work alongside Israeli peace activists who share our vision of justice and equality, and we work with Palestinian diaspora communities across Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan who keep the struggle alive from afar.

Mexico and Central America

Climate change hits hardest where people have done the least to cause it. Through our Climate Fellowship, we support young Indigenous activists and environmental defenders across Mexico, Nicaragua, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama. They’re protecting forests, defending water, preserving ancestral knowledge and building climate resilience in their communities.

South and East Africa

Our gender justice work began on the streets of South Africa, meeting girls and young women who’d been pushed to the margins. Today, we partner with organisations in Durban, Burundi and Tanzania — providing safety, education and advocacy for those who’ve experienced trauma, violence and discrimination. These partners are led by people who understand the realities because they’re part of these communities.

India

In Chennai, we work with Karunalaya — an incredible organisation supporting pavement-dwelling communities, particularly Dalits who face systemic discrimination. Through education, creative projects and community organising, Karunalaya is challenging caste oppression and building dignity and opportunity for families living on the streets.

United Kingdom

Justice isn’t just something we support abroad — it’s work we do here too. We run advocacy campaigns, cultural projects and awareness-raising events across the UK, amplifying voices from our global programmes and challenging the systems and policies that perpetuate injustice. We educate, inspire and mobilise communities to stand in solidarity with those on the frontlines.

Everywhere we go

What connects all our work — whether in Gaza, Guatemala or Durban — is a belief that the people closest to injustice are the ones leading the fight against it.

We don’t direct. We support.
We don’t speak for. We amplify.
We stay committed, year after year, because justice isn’t a quick fix —
it’s a life-long journey we take together.
