Amos Trust and Friends of Al Aqsa present an evening with Gazan journalist Hala Hanina, Dr Ismail Patel and Chris Rose — discussing the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the deteriorating situation in the West Bank and what the recent Palestine Action court decision means for advocacy in the UK.

The evening
Over 260 journalists have been killed in Gaza since October 2023. Hala Hanina left just days before the genocide began and continues reporting on the situation despite the devastating loss of so many colleagues.

Join us as Hala, Ismail and Chris discuss what’s happening on the ground, what it means for advocacy in the UK and what comes next. The evening will also feature film and poetry, followed by mint tea, Arabic coffee and baklava.
