Amos Road Club
Sixteen years of pedal-powered solidarity
We ride because...
Every late May bank holiday, something happens at Amos Trust. We get on our bikes.
It started in 2008 when 30 of us rode coast-to-coast from Whitehaven to Tynemouth, raising funds for uMthombo, our street child partner in South Africa. We were hooked.
Since then, we’ve conquered the length of Wales, powered through Holland and Belgium, climbed Scottish Hill and ridden the Way of the Roses. We’ve cycled London to Paris — twice, and in 2023, as Gaza burned, we rode the Coast-to-Coast again, pedalling our rage and our hope across England.
The Amos Road Club isn’t about Lycra or speed — it’s about showing up, sweating together and raising funds for partners who are doing the real hard yards on the ground. It’s more about coffee stops and terrible weather. It’s that moment on day three when your legs finally remember what they’re doing. It’s friendships forged on empty country roads.
If you would like to join us, please email [email protected] who will be able to send you details of our next planned ride.
Every mile matters. Every rider counts. Every year, we do it again.
