Please remember to bring with you to the airport:
Don't forget your passport (!) and also please bring either printed copies or copies on your phone of the following documents.
Pre- Flight procedures
PCR Test (max 72 hours before departure)
As we mentioned you need to do a PCR test a maximum of 72 hours before the flight departure, so from Sat 30 April 12:30 onwards and factor in time to get your results back to bring with you to the airport. Saturday or Sunday is probably best and the test needs to be at a testing centre and I think you can also do it at Boots the chemist.
Israel Entry Statement Form (maximum 48 hours before departure)
You must fill in the Entry Statement form a maximum of 48 hours before the flight departs (from Sunday 1 May, from 12:30).
You’ll need:
- your passport details,
- the address of our first night’s accommodation and;
- your digital copy of your vaccination information from the NHS app to upload to the form.
We advise that at the end of the form, you click on the link to pre pay for your COVID test which is mandatory at Tel Aviv airport when you arrive.
If you have any problems or questions with this do let me know, I've had a go at doing both things getting the NHS vaccination info and the Entry form.
Address details to fill in on the form:
Locality: Jerusalem,
Street: Harun al-Rashid,
House number: 6
Zipcode: 19700
Tip for the form - you need to use the dropdown arrow to input quite a few of the answers and the descriptions of what they want you to enter are below the answer fields.
Flight Boarding passes
For those of you travelling on the group flights both ways you should have received your boarding passes via email and the seating allocations we have been given.
As you know we are flying with Easyjet and because we are on a group booking you've been checked-in online as a group.
Due to COVID restrictions there’s no pre-ordering of Easyjet’s in-flight menu, but you can view the menu here. You will need to pay by card on the plane. Otherwise we advise people just to buy a sandwich or snack to take on with you.
Baggage allowance
You have one hold bag maximum weight of 23kg and a cabin bag (max weight 15kg). As Chris mentioned the carry-on bag is a small rucksack size, so it’s not a small wheel-on case.
Here's a link to their baggage guide.

Meeting up at the airport
Please alert Sarah Rose when you have arrived at the airport via the whatsapp group so she can keep track of the group. She can also then advise you where she is airside. We advise you to arrive from 9.30am at Luton (bag drop opens at 10:30am, but queuing could start earlier!) and present your boarding pass at the airline desk to check your hold luggage in.
Arrival in Tel Aviv
In terms of Arrival in Tel Aviv, Sarah and Karin will guide you through and Sarah will go ahead as trip leader to alert them to you as a group. As mentioned Chris is already in Israel so will meet you at the airport arrivals in Tel Aviv. You'll have to do a lateral flow COVID test on arrival in Tel Aviv.
