In October of 2002, my wife Gill and I spent a week in Uganda, taking part in a memorial service for Bishop Misaeri Kauma, and catching up with the work of the Taata project. It was 10 years since my last visit, and it was fascinating to see what has changed since then, and how the country is coping with issues such as HIV/AIDS, a subject very close to Bishop Misaeri's heart.  read more…

Our ongoing support for the Taata project in Uganda is reliant on sufficient giving to cover the costs of the school and college fees for those from the village of Nsangi who have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS. As they head towards the end of the Christmas term, Taata are unsure if they'll be able to pay all the fees or not.  read more…
