Rickshaw Run raises funds for Indian team
20 January 2010
Amos supporter Mark Hagley and his colleague Larry Jarrett-Kerr have just completed a sponsored rickshaw run to raise funds for the Indian team for the Street Child World Cup. Travelling from Kerala to Gantok, Sikkim in the Himalayas, the run covered thousands of miles of terrain not suited to a 150CCs of tuk-tuk power! This was not a journey for the faint hearted. (You can see more about the route here). Mark and Larry work together at fair trade clothing company, Plain Lazy and are long term Amos supporters. You can read more about the adventure here.
Many thanks to Mark and Larry from everyone at Amos.
Mark and Larry's justgiving site is still taking donations towards their £20,000 target, so click here if you would like to reward their very bumpy journey!
