We were delighted to host Sam Richards, Sadock John, Lucas Mee and Isabelle Kenyon for the launch of Street Child United’s We Are All Somebody poetry anthology.

We Are All Somebody is a collection of poems written by young people with lived experience of street life from around the world. The title itself is a powerful assertion — a refusal to be dismissed, ignored or reduced to stereotypes. These poems claim identity, dignity and voice for young people who are too often treated as invisible.

Street Child United works globally to amplify the voices of street-connected children and young people, advocating for their rights and creating platforms for them to lead change. This poetry anthology is part of that work — proving that young people on the streets are poets, thinkers, leaders and dreamers.

The contributors shared readings from the anthology and discussed what it meant to them to see their words in print and their stories recognized.
