Travelling with AmosWe are aware that people have limited holiday leave. We therefore seek to ensure that people have an inspiring holiday break, that they visit fantastic places and have the time and input required to stop, reflect on, and enjoy what they've witnessed.
We aim to ensure that everyone in the group has the best experience possible and that our partners' interests are furthered by the time that they invest in the visit. For these reasons we do take time to work out the balance of a group, and so we will not confirm your booking until we have had the opportunity to meet you. We will contact you to arrange this as soon as we receive your application.
Pre-trip Briefing
It is essential that everyone in the group attends the pre-trip briefing meeting. You will be notified of the date and location of the briefing as soon as possible.

Please note that prices are based on sharing a room. Please contact us if you would like a quote on a single room supplement.
What is not included in the price

Insurance
You will be required to provide details of your travel insurance for the group leader - insurance company, policy number, emergency contact number.

Health
Please note that a certain level of fitness is required - all the trips involve a fair amount of walking and standing, often on difficult terrain. In addition the temperatures can be very hot and in India and Nicaragua there will be jet lag to contend with.
You should consult your GP for recommended vaccinations and health precautions for any Amos trip.
Changes to schedule
The safety and wellbeing of those involved is of paramount importance to Amos. We are guided at all times by the knowledge of our local partners. This may result in changes to the group's itinerary.
Carbon offsetting
Amos Trust is aware of the damage air travel causes to the environment and seeks to limit its use of air travel. When air travel is necessary Amos Trust offsets its carbon emissions for staff flights. We do not feel that it is our place to arrange offsetting for trip participants, but recommend it to all.
