Disha Ravi works with Fridays For Future India, FFF MAPA (Most Affected People and Areas) and FFF International. FFF India is a movement started in India to demonstrate the power of the youth regarding the climate crisis.
Disha’s work primarily revolves around organising different environmental issues, climate and environmental education and the aspects of intersectional climate justice. She has been featured in Vogue for her environmental activism and is a freelance writer who has written think pieces on climate change for the Independent and Al Jazeera.

“The climate change crisis disproportionately affects Africa, and we need to act now.” Adenike Oladosu is a first-class graduate of agricultural economics, an eco-reporter and eco-feminist, having developed a module for an online course on eco-feminism and climate change.
“We cannot talk about climate justice without discussing women’s empowerment.” Immaculate Akello is a climate change activist and lawyer whose work is transforming the lives of rural women in northern Uganda living along the shea belt community. She is the founder of Generation Engage Network, which champions environmental rights and environmental democracy in Northern and Central Uganda.
“We cannot win the fight toward climate justice without social justice and equality.” Jakapita Kandanga is part of Fridays for Future Windhoek, a collection of youth activists fighting against the injustices to the environment and people. FFF Windhoek members take to the streets to protest, write speeches and reports, and petitions Namibian leaders in parliament.
“We are not pitiful people asking for international aid. We are also resilient. Climate change is not a concept; it's a reality.” Marie Christina Kolo is an eco-feminist and the founder of Green‘N’Kool, where she leads ecological initiatives and builds communities in rural areas of Madagascar.
“To fight for climate justice is to fight against all injustices, for the liberation of all. To address the climate crisis, we need system change — and for that, we need collective action.” Mitzi Jonelle Tan is a climate activist and part of Youth Advocates for Climate Action Philippines, an alliance of young individuals, organisations, and student councils that advocate for climate justice, the urgency of climate action, youth-led collective action, defence of environmental defenders and system change.
Those who have the least political and economic power, and the least responsibility for the changing climate, are affected the most.
We partner with CEPAD in Nicaragua to empower seven communities in Teustepe with the skills, knowledge and community resilience required to address their own problems.
