Amos Day in brief:

  • On Location
Our new project showcasing Gazan artists and their work and the places that have inspired them.

  • International Day of the Girl
11th October is International Day of the Girl and we will be hearing from girls from our partner projects around the world as they talk about how they are pursuing a world free from gender-based violence and the steps we can take to support them.

  • Street Born
Street Born, a project with girls on the streets and their children that we are partnering with Cheka Sana Tanzania on has been selected for a BBC Radio 4 Appeal on 29th October. We will be sharing how this can have the biggest impact and how you can get involved.

  • Palestine Justice
We will be joined by special guests from Palestine, live on Zoom, as we share the next steps in our Change the Record campaign.

  • Climate Justice
We will hear from young climate activists about their plans and demands ahead of COP 26.

There will also be a special Seeds of Hope with friends reading a selection from our book of the same name.

The day will finish at 4pm but then at 5pm, Garth Hewitt, Amos’ founder, will perform a special one-hour concert to preview his forthcoming album ‘Easter Revolution’, an album of new material including three new songs about Palestine.
