Abdelfattah Abusrour

Abdelfattah is the director and founder of the Alrowwad Cultural & Arts Society in Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem. Alrowwad teaches ‘Beautiful Resistance’ to children and young people, providing educational support while drawing them into Dabka dance, drama, music, film and photography projects instead of a destructive cycle of violence.

Abdelfattah is also an actor and poet (he will be performing his poetry at these events), an Ashoka fellow and an inspirational speaker.

Sally Azzam Cook

Sally was the co-founder of Liwan Café in Nazareth which established itself as an act of cultural resistance whose impact spread through Nazareth and led to the resurgence of life in the Old City.

Sally has worked extensively on Women’s empowerment projects in Palestine and is Amos Trust’s newest team member.
