An evening with Mpendulo

On Her Terms

Giving girls who
never had a first chance,
a second.

Tuesday 22 May
 2018 6.30 – 8.30pm

HOME Community Cafe
St. Andrew’s Earlsfield, Garratt Lane
London SW18 4SR

Join us for an evening with our friend
Mpendulo Nyembe, Director of Amos partner Umthombo, working with children and young people living on the streets of Durban,
South Africa.

Come to hear more about
their prevention work in communities,
rebuilding hope with teenage
girls on the streets, and
advocacy work to change
perceptions of homeless
children. There will be food and
drinks available at the cafe
for purchase during the
evening.

Please contact
karin@amostrust.org if
you would like to join us.

Rebuilding and reconnecting street girls’ emotions, that have long
been suppressed and shattered, is the core of our work, so they may
move towards making choices that provide hope for their future...”
Mpendulo Nyembe, Umthombo
