join us as we make beautiful resistance a reality

You've met the young people of Alrowwad Centre for Culture and Arts, you’ve seen them dance and sing, you’ve listened to their stories. So now what?

We decided to bring the young people from Aida Refugee Camp over to the UK because of Alrowwad's founder, Abdelfattah Abusrour's experience when he was a young refugee living in Aida camp.

Abdelfattah said,

My life changed when I first left the Camp to go to France. The best thing would be for us to work together to take 14 young people from the Camp to perform in the UK.

The young people in Aida Camp believe that it is normal to throw stones, to inhale tear gas, to hide from soldiers but this is not normal.

Now we are excited about partnering with Alrowwad as it continues to make Beautiful Resistance happen every day within Aida refugee camp and across the West Bank – but we can't make it happen without you.

You can practice Beautiful Resistance with us now, whether you want to visit the young people in Palestine, run the Palestine marathon, organise events in your local area or just keep up to date with their progress. Sign up now and we will be in touch with more ways to make Beautiful Resistance happen.

Please read more about Alrowwad’s work here.

As Palestinian refugees, we don’t have the luxury of despair. We choose Beautiful Resistance.

Thank you.
