Stories of Hope is a monthly series of blog posts from the Amos team, sharing exactly that — stories from our partners around the world, giving an insight into how they build hope in the lives of the people they work with every day.
Lindo and Mpendulo from Amos partner Umthombo Street Children visited the UK from Durban, South Africa, in May this year. As well as visiting supporters nationwide, they spent time in Tower Hamlets, London, with a former Umthombo volunteer. Karin Joseph writes.
“The greatest impact on my family has been an awakening; an understanding of managing community projects and being part of small businesses in my community.” Karin Joseph shares the story of one member of a rural community in Teustepe, Nicaragua, supported by Amos Trust.
