“This menu is your chance to taste food from Gaza. Every dish is vegan, traditional and full of flavour. Simple ingredients. Bold stories. Gaza on a plate.” Izzeldin Bukhari, Founder of Sacred Cuisine
As part of his UK tour, Jerusalem-based chef Izzeldin Bukhari, founder of Sacred Cuisine, joins Amos Trust and Coexist Community Kitchen for a unique evening bringing the flavours of Gaza to Bristol. Enjoy a lovingly prepared three-course vegetarian meal spotlighting traditional Gazan dishes — while Izzeldin shares the stories, memories and meaning behind every plate.
Amos Trust’s Sally Azzam will also be in conversation with Izzeldin, exploring how food becomes a form of resistance — a way to remember, connect and survive.
About Izzeldin
Founder of Sacred Cuisine, Izzeldin is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich culinary heritage of Palestine. He brings to life the deep connection between food, land and identity — showing how tradition and improvisation sustain Palestinian culture through even the hardest times.
