This Christmas, families in Gaza are returning to what’s left of their homes and their lives. In the West Bank, Palestinians are under growing pressure. We believe it’s vital to focus on building a future for children and young people in both Gaza and the
West Bank.
A Future Beyond the Rubble
Double your donation
Between the 2nd and 9th December, every gift will be doubled through the Big Give. That means your £20 becomes £40 — your £100 becomes £200 — all helping rebuild lives in Gaza and the West Bank.
Across Gaza, families are returning to what’s left of their homes — shattered walls, broken classrooms, empty streets. In the West Bank, the pressure of daily occupation grows heavier by the day.
This Christmas, we’re asking you to stand with them — to help rebuild a future beyond the rubble.

What your gift will support
Your donation to our 2025 Christmas Appeal will help our Palestinian partners rebuild lives, restore learning and renew hope.

Our partner DSPR Gaza (Department of Service to Palestinian Refugees) is providing specialised trauma therapy for children and their parents. Across Gaza, trained counsellors are helping families talk, draw and play again — slowly stitching back the threads of normal life.
“Children in Gaza do not suffer from post-traumatic stress — because the trauma never ends. Our work is to help them live, learn and dream again, even in the midst of it.” DSPR Gaza staff member
2. Education in the ruins: Tent-schools

With so many schools destroyed, education has moved to tents. In Gaza City and Central Gaza, teachers are running makeshift classrooms where children can read, write, play and rediscover routine.
Your support will help pay for school tents, learning materials and stipends for teachers who refuse to give up on their pupils.
“When children arrive in the morning, they smile. For a few hours, they can be children again.” Tent-school teacher, Gaza
3. Beautiful Resistance in Bethlehem

In Aida Refugee Camp, our long-time partner Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society offers young people a different kind of resistance — through dance, music, drama, photography and film.
Their ‘Beautiful Resistance’ programme helps children turn trauma into creativity, and fear into expression.
“We teach children that beauty is a form of resistance — that art can be their language of freedom.” Dr Abdelfattah Abusrour, Alrowwad Founder
Please pledge now. Thank you.
We work alongside grass-roots partners in Palestine, South Africa, Nicaragua, Burundi, India and Tanzania.
Reaching children on the streets, addressing their trauma, working with them and their families to reintegrate them into their homes, to realise their rights and recover their future.
Working with local and international peace activists, and partnering with grass-roots projects, to call for a just peace, reconciliation and full equal rights for all Palestinians and Israelis.
Addressing the impact of climate change and the causes of extreme poverty, building sustainable rural communities and empowering them to realise their rights.
Bringing people together to meet our partners from around the world, visiting the communities they work in and seeing their projects in action — building solidarity and lasting friendships.
