A virtual tour of Gaza

We were delighted to welcome Asmaa Tayeh and Ola AlAsi from We Are Not Numbers for a virtual tour of Jabalia Camp in the north of the Gaza Strip.
Jabalia is one of the oldest and most densely populated refugee camps in Gaza, home to over 100,000 people. Media coverage of Gaza typically shows destruction, conflict and crisis — rarely the everyday lives of people trying to live with dignity under siege.
This virtual tour offered something different. Asmaa and Ola took us through the streets of Jabalia, into the market, into homes and daily routines. We glimpsed the lives of locals, heard their stories and saw images of Gaza that never make it onto the news — moments of ordinary life, resilience and community in one of the world's most misunderstood places.
