After the huge success of the previous year’s virtual tour of Jabalia Camp in Gaza — one of our most popular webinars — we returned to the Strip for the sixth episode in our Dozen Tuesdays series to join our friends from We Are Not Numbers who created another virtual tour for us.
This time, three young Gazan presenters showed us around their Gaza City — the places they love, the streets they walk, the everyday moments that never make it onto the news. From cafes and markets to the sea and neighbourhoods, they shared the Gaza that exists beyond headlines and destruction.
We chatted with Walaa and Enas from We Are Not Numbers and the three young presenters, hearing their stories and perspectives on what it means to call Gaza home despite the siege, the blockade and the constant threat of violence.
