Chefs come together for Souk el Salam to raise money for Gaza
On Sunday 9th June, some of the UK’s top chefs and food writers will come together to host Souk el Salam (Peace Market) at St James’s Piccadilly, to raise money for aid to Gaza.

Souk el Salam will take place from 11.30am at St James’s. Chefs contributing to Souk el Salam include organisers and authors Sami Tamimi, Noor Murad, Nicole Pisani, Phil Khoury Philip Juma (Juma Kitchen), Jad Youssef (Lebnani Restaurant), Ayesha Kalaji and more. There will also be the chance to buy products from Zaytoun, Shorkk, Akub and Fil.

We recognise the profound significance of perpetuating the act of cooking, sharing meals and conversing about the diverse elements of food — from its ingredients and historical roots to its cultural significance, seasonal influences and the connections to our own traditions and cultures. Entry is from 11:30-13:30 for pre-sale ticket holders only.
Tickets cost £20 and include two food items from any of the stalls on a first-come, first-served basis. Further tokens can be purchased on the day which can be redeemed for items at the chef’s stalls.
